The Verona Choral Groups Association brings together choirs from across the province of Verona.
The Association was founded in 1979, desired by the choirs themselves to have greater strength in promoting and spreading choral singing.
Its main purposes:
to promote and spread choral activityin tutte le sue espressioni;
to organise workshops and music refresher coursesper qualificare le diverse interpretazioni e per una qualità vocale sempre più ricercata e puntigliosa;
to seek dialogue and collaboration with the academic worldperché venga riconosciuto e confermato il ruolo culturale ed artistico del mondo corale;
to organise initiatives and events for artistic exchangeper favorire il nascere di scambi culturali e lo sviluppo di forme di aggregazione sociale;
to contribute to the development and growth of the choral world through publications and recordings of unpublished works
to rediscover and document folk songs passed down through oral tradition attraverso l’opera di ricerca svolta dai cori stessi sul proprio territorio;
to create ongoing dialogue between the member choirs and the Association, encouraging new ideas and developing initiatives of shared interest. The Board of Directors organizes and coordinates the various activities and supports relationships between associated choirs.Direttivo eletto a Gennaio 2026
