The Folk Song Arrangement Competition requires the creation of an a cappella polyphonic arrangement of a folk piece, the result of collaboration between a choir and a musician.

The Choral Composition Competition  requires the composition of a choral piece. The poetic text may be in Italian or in the choir’s native dialect. The musical composition must be unpublished and written for three or more voices.

The various prizes are awarded by a qualified jury, while a special prize is assigned by a “popular” jury made up of representatives of the Veronese choirs.
