Remembrance and Solidarity

The Day of Remembrance and Solidarity was born in 2019 from an idea by the El Portego choir to raise funds for social projects in developing countries. With the involvement of all choirs, the initiative later developed into what has been called a day to remember their singers: "in song, remembrance and solidarity."

A double-purpose event:

  1. To remember lost friends. A musical afternoon where choir members can remember one or more people who have left a significant mark on their choir's life. A way to remember and not lose their memory. We believe our singers deserve a day dedicated to their memory.
  2. To transform singing into concrete support for solidarity projects. During the event, there will be time to discuss solidarity and illustrate the practical actions that characterize the solidarity gestures of many of the Association's choirs.
